d of a loan in the amount of EUR 48 (15.1 of them grant from ECD) million from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and European Commission of Delegation (ECD) to finance the construction of the Vlora bypass road in south-west Albania. The proposed projects, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 100 million including taxes, will require the procurement of the following works and services:• The civil works associated with the construction of a 22km dual carriageway bypass road between the cities of Fier and Levan linking the Lushnje-Fier road section in the north and the Levan-Vlore and Levan – Tepelena road sections in the south of Albania that are under construction.• Construction of a 29 km road network bypassing the City of Vlore in order to improve the road traffic flow along the southern coast of Albania. This bypass starts from the southern end of the Fier/Vlore Autobahn around the north and east of Vlore, skirting the villages of Babice and Kanine. From Kanine the bypass runs parallel to coastline, at an approximate distance of 1 to 2 km, until it connects with the existing Orikum to Sarande Roa
