The services will strengthen the capacity of the ERCC in the field of anticipation, preparedness, planning, monitoring, analysis, early warning and information. In addition, the envisaged ENHSP will deliver emergency advisory service also to EU Member States and Participating States to the Union Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM) as well as training and exercises. The envisaged ENHSP will be composed of a network of scientific and research institutes covering at least the following natural hazards and including potential cascading effects (e.g., dam break), at the global level: severe weather; earthquakes; tsunamis; floods; volcanic events and wildfires.
