Recognizing the central role of maritime safety, this research will examine how fatigue, influenced by different working rosters, impacts the well-being, performance, and safety of seafarers. Fatigue among seafarers not only poses a significant threat to their health and safety but also expose the safe operation of ferries, possibly leading to maritime accidents. This study should adopt a holistic approach, considering all elements that contribute to seafarers' fatigue, such as long working hours, insufficient rest periods, irregular shift patterns, and the demanding nature of work onboard on the ship. The primary focus, however, will be on the impact of working rosters on the fatigue levels of seafarers.
