During Phase 1 of the Project a Methodology was developed which constituted the basis for the development of the Multi-Country Study on domestic capacity for the execution of judgements and decisions of the European Court of Human Rights” which focused on the functional relevance of the existing mechanisms for execution of the ECtHR judgments in the member States in the light of the CM Recommendation (2008)2 and identifying good practices and effective national execution mechanisms.
