responsibility for the connection of French offshore wind farms and European countries transmission grid to the French grid has been entrusted by the French government to RTE. In order for RTE to perform its duties, RTE intends to perform marine surveys on French coasts from project de-risking phases to maintenance phases. RTE is thus launching a qualification system for economic operators able to conduct marine surveys (“Qualification System”). The objective of this Qualification System is to identify and qualify economic operators with the technical expertise and resources necessary to carry out marine surveys along the export cable(s) and interconnector(s) corridors and/or in offshore substation areas.
