, Poti and Zugdidi.The investments will improve water supply and sanitation services, which will have a positive environmental and public health impact with an overall benefit to quality of life in Kutaisi, Ureki, Poti and Zugdidi, Improved and efficient services provided by the United Water Supply Company of Georgia (Promoter) will increase financial sustainability of the sector.The KUTAISI WASTEWATER project will include the following components:• Reconstruction, rehabilitation and extension of the existing sanitary sewerage system in the city of Kutaisi with a population of approximately 200,000 inhabitants. The sewer programme envisages investments comprising approximately 360 km of sewers and collectors, and several thousands of related house connections.• Construction of a new wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of approximately 210,000 popula
