t and wish to tender for the service of a General Practitioner to provide the following service on campus: • Minimum 7 hours and maximum 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time (times to be agreed with the institute). • The appointee should be available to provide emergency medical care/cover to a limited number of students who may remain on campus during the holiday periods. • The appointee will be available to provide telephone support to the Institute Nurse outside of the campus surgery hours (between 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday). • In exceptional circumstances and if medical emergencies arise outside of campus surgery hours, triage referrals by the DkIT Health Unit will be provided by the appointee at their own medical practice and premises. The agreed costs provide for up to 20 student visits per annum, visits in excess of this figure will be charged to DkIT
