mp House MCC • Line1 post-press MCC Project Background Mandatory Insurance Requirement Medite electrical distribution network comprises 17 Motor Control Centre rooms, and the main HV Switch-room located at Anner Substation. (See MCC layout drawing in Appendix 3). A number of these MCCs and the main Switch-room are considered higher impact and risk, due to the criticality of the processes they support and the ageing condition of the installed switchgear and associated cooling systems. Overall Program Objectives The multi-year goal of this program is to ensure that all site MCC + HV switch-room comply with legislative requirements and industry best practice for extinguishing electrical fires automatically. It is proposed to install a similar Clean Agent gaseous suppression system with appropriate smoke detection in all MCC rooms, starting with those with critical switchgear. Program esti
