This hydrogen end users in the project will replace part of their diesel consumption in the sectors of heavy-duty road transport (mobility) and asphalt and plaster production (industry) in Iceland with green hydrogen. Landsvirkjun is ideally looking for a turn-key electrolyzer solution where the scope of supply includes all main equipment needed for the operation of a hydrogen production plant. The solution should ideally be able to operate at ambient temperature between -20°C and +30°C, be able to withstand wind loads of up to 25 m/s, be able to withstand snow load of approx. 1 m depth, be able to operate within 1 km distance from the sea and be suitable for seismic action of 1.47 m/s2 with a probability of 0.002.
