curement of: Water Production System - Intake: Renovation of the existing river intake at the Shire River, construction of additional pump sump next with pump housing building, installation of 3 pumps - Transmission main: 580m of DN700 DI from the new intake to the WTP - Water treatment plant: New 32,500 m3/d (the ultimate capacity of 43,334 m3/d at 2050) consisting of inlet works, flocculation and sedimentation tanks, rapid gravity filters, 3,500 m3 contact tank and one 300 m3 Elevated Steel Backwash Tank. Auxiliary facilities: chemical and chlorination buildings, chemicals storage building, 3 sludge drying beds, one backwash lagoon, administration and laboratory buildings together with site works. - Pump house: Three (3) Treated water pumping station ranging from 56 m3/h to 300 m3/h and a backwash filter pumping station. - E & M, instrumentation and control works.
