ort system and the segment of the Railway Corridor VIII traversing the Republic of North Macedonia has a missing link leading to the Republic of Bulgaria. It is structured in three sections: (i) Kumanovo to Beljakovce (Phase 1, 30.8 km) currently in DLP, (ii) Beljakovce to Kriva Palanka (Phase 2, 34 km) presently under construction and Kriva Palanka to Deve Bair (Phase 3, 23.4 km) - this segment leads towards up to the cross border tunnel with Republic of Bulgaria. This procurement notice refers particularly for the section “Construction of new railway section from Kriva Palanka to the cross-border tunnel with Republic of Bulgaria”.
