egulatory regime, in nuclear safety, radiation protection and environmental protection for the last 25 years through its Regulatory Cooperation Program implemented under the umbrella of the Norwegian Plan of Action. DSA commenced sustainable and long-term cooperation with regulatory authorities in Europe and Central Asia and share its experience with enhancement of the regulatory regime with several IAEA and NEA forums and groups. The Program resulted in the development of a number of regulatory documents of different levels, demonstrating flexibility in approach when applying IAEA Safety Standards to enhance the level of safety and strengthen the national role of the sister regulatory bodies.
