It is important that the quality of the medicines is maintained in the entire value chain from production to the customer. The manner in which the medicine packages are distributed depends on the geographical location in the country. The medicines can be distributed for active cooling (cooling box and/or cooling vehicle) or passive cooling (refrigeration packaging holding 2-8°C, or freezer packaging that holds -25 to -15°C, possibly -90 to -60°C).
