Our project comprises a relatively large number of individuals and therefore has a need for automated purification with relatively high throughput, approx. 5,000 extractions per annum, with a probable increase to up to 15,000 extractions per annum shortly. The instrument shall, with proposed reagents, deliver a total of RNA of a sufficient amount and quality that is suitable for analyses with high requirements for RNA quality, for example quantitative PCR and deep sequence.2.1.1.
