As a starting point, the procurement is expected to be offered one syringe per sub-contract, which is well suited for use on all patients. This includes both adults, children and premature infants. However, if a tenderer has different syringes in their range that are different for adults, children or premature infants, different syringes with an equal price can be offered within one lot. Emphasis will be put on the fact that reliable/accurate analysis replies can be achieved with the least amount of blood from patients and that the sample can be mixed well with the minimum volume required.
