Information on avalanche activity shall be used for verification of avalanches and as a decision basis for the Contracting Authority's avalanche control facility on Arnøya. The function of the radar system is also to count vehicles and boat traffic in and out of the avalanche area. The function shall be used as an additional HSE barrier to reduce the risk of vehicles and vessels being located in the area during ongoing ava
