or cooperation between Norway and civil communities in the recipient country of the EEA resources. For the financing period 2021-2028, approx. 300 million euros shall be used in support of civil communities in the recipient countries. The 15 recipient countries are Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Croatia, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. The management of the support for civil society under the EEA funds is organised through the establishment of independent funds in the recipient countries, which are managed daily by a local fund operator. The main objective of the assignment is to assist in establishing contact and facilitating co-operation between civil society in Norway and civil society in the recipient countries under the Civil Society Fund.
