Malvik municipal council decided to introduce free user choice in 2025 for home care and home nursing during April 2026. The municipality can take care of employer responsibility itself or enter into agreement with other public or private actors for offering home care and including taking care of employer responsibility. This competition is for the Home Help part of the free user choice. The scheme concerns users of home help in Malvik municipality who live in their own home.
