w instructions can be improved through suggestions from surveyors and professionals who have not been involved in the development of the instructions. In 2021, an expert group led by NIVA presented proposals for management relevant marine nature types (NIVA report 7672-2021). The nature types that the group considered to have the most knowledge of, and experience from, were tested in the field in 2024. In 2025 the testing shall also include nature types we have little knowledge of in new areas.
