vernment would like to make sure that the nursery sector gets good support in the work on quality development in nurseries, cf. the national nursery strategy towards 2030, nursery school for a new era. Different evaluations, surveys and reports point out that there can be challenges with the municipality's supervision of kindergartens and the compliance with the nursery law in the sector. The Ministry of Education and Research needs comprehensive knowledge on compliance with the nursery law with regulations and the municipality ́s supervision of nurseries and the government managers ́ supervision of the municipality as a nursery authority.
