Under the Nordic Sea Programme, the Nordic Council of Ministers will fund projects with the aim of 1) identifying and developing systems to reduce pollution and thereby protect a marine ecosystem, and 2) increase knowledge that can enable sustainable and ecosystem-based use of ocean areas that take both the environment and society ́s needs into consideration.
