The publication of the Scoreboard in December each year intends to raise awareness of the importance of R&D for businesses and to encourage firms to disclose information about their R&D investments and other intangible assets, provide economic analyses and inspire policy recommendations for Europe. The data for the Scoreboard come from companies’ publicly available audited accounts. The main objective of this framework contract is data collection and validation for the EU Industrial R&D Investment Scoreboards 2025-28. The work shall be organised in annual cycles with regard to publication of the report each December.
