management multImodal environment and digital enablers, in short MOTIONAL, is an EU funded project, consisting of a Consortium with 28 partners. Today, rail traffic is managed on national or regional level, supported by legacy systems with a poor level of digitalisation and weak integration with systems of other actors participating in the overall traffic planning and management process. Through the development of functional requirements, associated specifications and operational or technological solutions and by taking advantage of the potential of digitalisation, MOTIONAL project aims at contrib-uting towards a more connected multimodal transport system for passengers and freight. The projects are managed by a Coordinator (COO), which in MOTIONAL wave 2 is the Swe-dish Transport Agency, hereafter Trafikverket. The consortium consists of some 25 partners across Europe.Identifica
