Fintraffic starts radar procurement to ensure the availability and continuity of surveillance-based ATS service and to improve surveillance coverage and sensor capabilities with modern equipment. This appendix describes the procurement of MSSR (Mode S), PSR S-band and PSR L-band systems including co-mounted PSR+MSSR. Fintraffic intends to award the contract and sign a framework agreement with one (1) system supplier. The framework agreement shall be valid for call-off orders to a minimum of four (4) years with the option to extend the agreement period by an additional four (4) years.
