and Development (BMZ), GIZ has been implementing the atingi learning platform ("atingi") from 2019 to 2025. The platform is established as a multilingual and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)-compliant digital learning environment, offering an effective, scalable, and sustainable way to implement digital learning - free of charge for learners in GIZ partner countries. Target groups are learners aged 16 and above living in Latin America, the Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, or Eastern Europe. The platform hosts over 300 public digital courses, covering topics such as Artificial Intelligence, digital skills, health, entrepreneurship, tourism, and more.
