the event of a real donor testing contingency service being required by the IBTS it is important that the blood donor samples (2,000 – 4,000 samples) are transported to the SNBTS as soon as possible so that the SNBTS can complete the testing required by the IBTS as the results are required to allow for the release of blood and blood products to the hospitals.
