ces. Euratom inspectors require a gamma imaging system associated with a visual detector to promote the identification of residual or resident nuclear material in a wide range of environments. The system is meant to be portable and if possible hand-held. It is expected to be used during routine inspection operations with focus on ergonomics and sturdy design. In this context, DG ENER E1 needs to purchase two gamma imaging devices versatile enough to accommodate a wide range of measurements. They must be equipped with a wide energy range sensor and provide fine energy resolution.
