ry of Land and Air Transports, (MiTTA) which is the political counterpart, and the Executive Council for Sustainable Urban Transportation (CETUD) being the implementing partner. MoVe Senegal is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The project is part of the development cooperation programme "Sustainable Energy Supply and Urban Development in Senegal", which aims to make cities sustainable, climate-neutral, resilient and liveable. MoVe Senegal is in line with Senegal National Development Strategy 2025-2029, which is a strategy for implementing its Vision 2050. Senegal's climate protection targets, set out in the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), provide for a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 23% and 29% (subject to external support) by 2030.
